- Czech Vaseline glass beads
Czech Vaseline glass is a type of uranium glass that is yellow or yellowish-green in color and glows green when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. Glassmakers add small amounts of uranium dioxide, usually between 0.1% and 25%, to the glass to achieve this color. The uranium causes the glass to glow bright green under UV light, which is why it's also known as "canary glass".
